Tenterden & District Day Centre

The Centre provides day care and practical services for older people who live in the catchment area which includes Bethersden Parish. Transport is provided on Tuesdays from the village to the Centre. Hi Kent (Sound support for deaf and hard of hearing people)

Hi Kent is the local registered charity for the quarter of a million deaf and hard of hearing people who live in Kent.  Established since 1986, the charity received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2007. People with NHS hearing aids can get them cleaned, re-tubed and provided with new batteries, free of charge, at more than 200 regular local clinics throughout Kent.

Ashford Citizens Advice Bureau have moved to new premises with full disabled services. Specialist help in debt and welfare services is available.
