The Parish Council has recently received an approach for a twinning with a small village in the north of France called Gruson near Lille. (Three miles from the Belgium border).
Members of the Parish Council are in favour of the project as is Bethersden Primary school. The views of the parishioners are sought to enable the council to judge whether there is any interest in exploring this further. Participation from local residents would be key to the success of this proposal.
